Sage 50 Accounts (version 15) has just been released and businesses wanting to find out more before they order should contact Alison Leech at Bentleys who currently has a fully working preview.
As a Sage Accredited Accountant Business Partner, Bentleys was one of the first accountants to have sight of the pre-release demonstration copy to show to clients.
The main upgrade feature is specifically designed to help businesses survive the “credit crunch” with a new “chase debts” credit control section. This function allows you to stay in control of your debts, keep a record of conversations, detail when monies are promised/expected and it also reminds you when to check for monies promised/received.
Alison comments,
“We have been lucky to have access to this package which is only just being shipped to customers who placed pre-orders. Businesses really should take a look at it and we are happy to give any interested parties a demonstration. The detail available within the ‘credit crunch’ section far exceeds all our expectations.”
Other upgraded areas include:
• Better dashboard displays
• A built in diary that will link into Outlook.
• Payment methods selection within customer/supplier records
• Communications tab within the customer/supplier records.
• Batch reporting facility so you can run numerous reports whilst working on other areas of the programme.
• Encryption and/or password protection of PDF documents.
• Extra options within the bank reconciliation screen e.g. running totals for highlighted items and retrospective bank reports.
• ‘Error corrections’ is moved to be more accessible within the stacked toolbars.
• More drilldown on reports where available figures are in blue.
